Dr. Angelina Farella
Dr. Angelina Farella is a compassionate and highly respected board-certified pediatrician with more than two decades of experience caring for children and supporting families throughout every stage of childhood. Known for her warmth, clinical excellence, and deeply personalized approach to care, Dr. Farella has dedicated her life to helping children thrive physically, emotionally, and developmentally.
Her passion for medicine began at just 10 years old after her brother was involved in a serious accident and required intensive care. Witnessing his experience sparked a calling that would shape her future. She knew she wanted to help children and families during life’s most challenging moments.
As the first person in her family to attend college, Dr. Farella worked hard to turn that calling into a career. Even as a student, she was known for her nurturing spirit and natural leadership. She regularly volunteered to assist children with special needs and was often pulled from class to help support students needing extra care and attention. Her mother affectionately called her the “mother hen,” a nickname that still reflects her heart for caring for others.
Dr. Farella earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Rutgers University, received her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine, and completed her pediatric residency at University of Texas Medical Branch, where she also served as Chief Resident.
Throughout her career, Dr. Farella has been recognized for her outstanding leadership and excellence in pediatric care, receiving numerous honors including the AMA Leadership Award for Young Physicians, Top Doc for Women, Top Doc for Kids, and Best Physician by Bay Area Citizen.
In recognition of her clinical expertise and leadership in pediatric healthcare, Dr. Angelina Farella was appointed in 2026 by Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to serve on the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP), one of the nation’s most influential public health advisory boards. As one of only two physicians appointed during that selection cycle, Dr. Farella was chosen to help advise on vaccine science, immunization policy, and public health recommendations that impact millions of Americans. This highly respected national leadership role reflects Dr. Farella’s trusted voice in medicine, commitment to clinical excellence, and dedication to advancing thoughtful, evidence-informed healthcare.
Dr. Farella combines traditional medicine with innovative functional and integrative approaches. Her areas of expertise include behavior management, pediatric wellness, developmental support, and personalized care for children and those with complex health needs.
Dr. Farella believes exceptional care is about more than treating illness—it’s about building trust, empowering families, and helping every person reach their fullest potential. Her mission remains the same as when she was 10 years old: to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families every day.

Wyatt Deplazes
Patient Advocate
As a former EMT and a relatively new Houstonian, when Wyatt first applied for the position, he applied to be a patient advocate. At the time, store and IV associate was in more need, so he was hired for that position. He graciously accepted the offer and served that position with a smile, always learning and striving to help patients and staff feel safe and at home. Both patients and staff alike soon grew to love his humor, friendliness, and heart. He has loved getting to know the patients and making those personable connections with them. Whether talking about sad and hard to take news, obnoxious conspiracy theories, snake bites, or just friendly conversation, he has enjoyed developing those relationships with both patients and staff alike.
After working at that position for a little over a year, his original intent to be a patient advocate came true! He has transitioned seamlessly and helps patients with even greater intentionality, heart, and personableness as before. He is a bridge from provider to patient when questions need to be answered. He has enjoyed being a part of each patient’s health journey and their path to healing.
When his boots aren’t striding in the office, you will find him, his wife, and three boys loving the outdoors. They enjoy camping (the true, primitive kind), hiking, and hunting. He loves connecting with God’s nature and creation. i. He also loves to play board games, host game nights with friends and has a passion for culinary excellence where he offers ready-made meals and catering services catered to your dietary and special needs.
